Great showing at USC’s ATHENA Women’s Entrepreneurial Summit. These talented women and allies are unstoppable!

It began with Angel City FC’s Co-Founder Julie Uhrman sharing her founder’s journey and management approach to LA’s newest professional women’s sport team in a 1:1 moderated by Robyn Ward of FounderFoward. Emmeline Ventures La Keisha Landrum Pierre chatted with super Angel and entrepreneur Dawn Lafreeda, Dapper Boi Co-Founder Vicky Pasche, and Gritty in Pink’s Founder Shira Yevin. Inclusive entrepreneurship champions Elissa Grossman, Monica Dean, and Jeymi Choi highlighted their excellent work supporting women and underrepresented founders at USC’s Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies. Tower 28 Beauty Founder Amy Liu received the award for USC Entrepreneur of the Year and shared her amazing journey from student and corporate executive to founding the enterprise she always wanted to create.

Loved hearing the amazing Shawn Ray White lead a panel with media power-women, Sarah Odenkirk, Thy-An Julien, and Tyler Chou, on the legal and business aspects of Generative AI in the world’s entertainment capital.  Looking forward to co-investing with this amazing group of people.
